When our nephew Marcus was a toddler,
he couldn't say Uncle Paul so it sounded like apple core.
We're Paul Matalucci and Tom Osborne.
Originally from San Francisco, we bought Apple Core Farm in July 2018 with a dream: plant an orchard of rare apple trees, grow cut flowers, and create a place to celebrate and share Nature's beauty.

This area on the northeast flank of Mount Hood in Oregon has been growing thousands of acres of fruit trees for decades. Locals call the back roads and highways that welcome visitors "The Fruit Loop."
We figured it was destiny.

In 2021, we planted root stock for a new orchard of rare apples and doubled our growing area for cut flowers.
